Swiss-Indian Agritech Group
Swiss-Indian agritech group consolidating the food chain on one platform. 20 group companies (4 operational + 9 trading + 7 holding), 7 countries, 5 lines of business.
01The context
Twenty companies, seven countries, no single version of truth.
Different parts of the group ran different stacks - Tally, Microsoft Navision, LPDnD, SPICE, Zoho Forms, Zoho CRM. Performance review across the diverse portfolio was painful. Product origin and movement tracking was inadequate. Statutory and accounting consistency across geographies was a constant rebuild.
02The diagnosis
One platform, country-aware, with marketplace integration.
Consolidating to ERPNext with Indian + multi-country support, plus integration to the group's e-commerce marketplace, would solve all five constraints together. We sequenced as a phased go-live starting with the highest-leverage entities.
03What we installed
The interventions, in order.
- Core modules across DCs and storages — Multiple distribution centres, cold storages, packhouses on one platform.
- QR code batch-wise tracking — Product origin and movement visibility - end-to-end.
- Clear payment structure — Trading and orchestration accounting separated cleanly.
- Farmlink marketplace integration (planned) — Direct capture of sales orders from the e-commerce platform into ERPNext.
- Landed cost management + workflows — Customs, freight, duties accurately allocated. Orchestration workflows codified.
04The outcomes
Numbers, not deliverables.
